Celebird cb4gitems

How do you quickly identify disapproved items among a list of hundreds or thousands? The cb4gitems™ application is the latest release of the Celebird Items Control App that allows merchants who are using the Google Merchant Center to harvest more information from their submitted items.

Currently under beta release, the application allows users to retrieve items using Google's shopping content facility, then sort the retrieved items by a variety of attributes and statistics -- including clicks, title, price, availability, and status such as excluded (destination unchecked, not yet searchable), enlisted (destination checked), review (awaiting review), and disapproved.

The Celebird cb4gitems app has a view facility that displays various views of the retrieved data such as an "Abridged" view offering statistical highlights, a "Status" view displaying status information, and an "Expanded" view showing attributes such as price and google_product_category.

The cb4gitems app also has a filter feature utilizing Google's filtered-rows constructs. Filters can be used to restrict what's viewed. For example, filtering items within a range of exact prices between 250 to 550 or only showing out of stock items.

Notes on using the application --

First, you must grant access to your processed feed data -- This is done using the 'Grant Access' button; There is no modification of any data but the grant does allow the retrieval of the item's statistical and status information and to access items that are not yet indexed for search.

Second, a copy of your uploaded feed items must be retrieved from Google's cloud database using the application's "Get Items" button.

Only the "Get Items" button operates on your data within Google's cloud. All other information is displayed, and operated on directly within your browser window.

That is, all data and graphs seen within the application is a subset of your feed items until all items are retrieved.

The Get Items feature simply attempts to retrieve the next (max-results) set of submitted items into the application for further sorting and filtering.

Please use the auto-get feature sparingly.  The feature can take a heavy toll on resources and may result in the application being restricted or removed by Google.  Auto-get is allowed only when max-results is set to 250 items.

A few browser caveats --

The number of items that can be retrieved and manipulated is limited by your browser. So, make use of the filter feature whenever possible -- especially with large numbers of items. Because the data is limited to your browser's (cache) the application will display a warning that you must retrieve the items again if you attempt to move away from the application.

Google places a limit of approximately one hour on retrieving your feed data from Google's cloud database into your browser.

Also, Microsoft's Internet Explorer requires a Google Plug-In for the application to function. Otherwise, you might try the application using another browser first -- such as Firefox or Google's Chrome.

Great article and fabulous app.

Finally an easy way to find which products are disapproved.

The tool doesn't work as of this comment. I'm trying to sort my google products by the amount of clicks they are getting in the shopping results... Any ideas as to what I can do? Google really is dropping the ball. How can they charge you for something, when you have a few thousand products and cannot see what actually gets clicks?! WOW Google. I can't sit for hours sorting through their site to try and find what got clicked on.

first, thank you for trying our app and for the comments.

sorting by the amount of clicks should work by clicking on the column heading.

we've recently added a demo version to test most of the available features.

could you possibly try the sort feature using the demo version, to help
verify that the issue is not related to the browser or something similar.

the demo version should be available using the following link:
https://celebird-support.appspot.com/cb4gitems/#gid=DEMO

otherwise, can you possibly offer more information --
such as the browser version and what was tried so far.
